Follow these steps:
Cut a piece of thread (no longer than a yard) to work with.
Pull the thread through the beeswax several times to coat it lightly.
Place the coated thread between two layers of muslin or paper towels.
Iron over the thread to melt and set the wax into the fibers.
Thread your needle and proceed with your hand stitching as usual.
